My work connects color science to professional practice — through research on cultural variation in color experience, the assessment of professional color competency, modular normlight architectures, and applied color in industry, healthcare and design.

I teach color theory and applied color science as a guest lecturer and in masterclass formats, and I have built the curriculum of the Nederlandse Kleurenschool.
